Dr. George S. Sziraki is a respected leader and consultant for the GS Educational Support (ES).  He is passionate about leading support systems in districts, schools, and governance to improve learning opportunities through effective leadership and governance.  He is a veteran educator who has served in various teaching and leadership roles in his 34 years of distinguished service including as a high school teacher/coach, principal, assistant superintendent, superintendent and an adjunct professor at University of U Mass in its master’s/doctorate programs.  He’s has 10 years experience as as a Superintendent , 5 years as  an Assistant Superintendent of Educational Service, and 7 years of principal/site administrative experience.

Dr. George S Sziraki has been recognized for his outstanding record of district leadership by the Association of California School Administrators 2010-11 Region 9 (ACSA) Assistant Superintendent of the year and most recently was awarded 2019-2020 (ACSA) Placer Region 2 Superintendent of the year. Furthermore, he was selected as a superintendent advisor to the California School Board Association (CSBA) for 7 years and elected as a voting member to the SJS California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Board of Managers and received the CIF Distinguished member award in 2023.

Dr. George S Sziraki provides valuable leadership expertise in guiding leaders through difficult and formidable challenges. His years of experience in organization development, educational change and trainings have equipped him well to lead others in a collaborative yet systemic way.  He has done extensive work with individuals and groups including executive coaching, leadership development, and team development.
